Sudo nano /etc /X11 /default-display-managerAdd false in the fileReboot the system then graphical interface is no longer present. Automatically run in the GUI mode when the system reboot. The machine does not need to use the GUI.
The graphical interface for the B-Pro was closed to save computational resources.Implementation Step 1:Create a file serverUse the file server can achieve LAN file sharing. Through this function we can upload files to the shared directory or download files from the shared directory. Here we use the samba software to realize our LAN sharing.(1) Set up static IPEdit /etc/network/interfaces. Sudo smbpasswd -a makersudo service samba restartSo far we have established the file server based on samba. Type the Winkey+R and input our IP address of the server.
Then we will see our sharing file on the computer. On the mobile phone use software ES file explorer to view the sharing file. In my network page of the ES file explorer click the new option and input the path of our sharing file like IP/sharing filename then input user name with password. Here I input 192.168.1.15/aria2share.
User name is maker and password is 321. We can manage our shared file in our phone now.Step 2:Download machine(1) Set up aria21)Install aria2.
Sudo /etc /init.d /nginx reloadsudo /etc /init.d /nginx restart4) Install yaawDownload the yaaw from. After download, extract the compressed file and copy all of the contents under the directory yaaw-master to the directory /aria2download/html.Now we use Google Chrome or Firefox browse to open the webpage address 192.168.1.15 on our computer then you can see the page as follow.Yes, we did it. Let’s try it right now.Step 3:Install the DLNA steaming media serverDLNA is mainly oriented to media resources (such as video, music) to realize the network sharing.
The setting steps as follows:(1) Install minidlna.
I'm stuck with two errors that stop DC Replication. The first problem I believe is related to the second problem.First being an errors in LdapSearchPS C:Windowssystem32 dcdiag /vDirectory Server DiagnosisPerforming initial setup:Trying to find home server. Hi,First of all, please make sure to clean up the metadata of old server srv6 after you remove a DC, then force a full replication among DCs and see if some errors are gone.Metadata cleanup is a required procedure after a forced removal of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).Clean Up Server Metadataregards,WendyPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.If you have feedback for TechNet Subscriber Support, contact. I have performed all Metadata and dns cleanups, check this post for most steps and tools usedwent through the registries and adsiedit entrys and completely removed srv6.Everything replicates and shows srv6 offline and gone. The last three trys end in domain failure when srv6 is removed and shutdown, have rolled back to here once again. 4th time is a charm, all working with srv6 in 2012 level domain, cant goto 2016 level till it is gone.srv6 is a ghost in the machine, a few hours after I remove it and verify and requirements, it appears to be gone, then it shows up in dcdiag /v logs and the domain looses Users and group access and the ldap connections fail to AD the new DC and time serverfor Domain. Eventually the domain fails altogether. Here is a link to all the servers dcdiag/v results from this itteration, hope you see something i missed. If there are any more reports needed please let me know.what I can tell srv6 was originally a 2003 DC controller, it was updated to 2008 before I took over the administration.
I updated it to 2012 r2 and have had this problem since. It ran for 4 years as DC server along with srv4 2012, and now herewe are. Weird thing is, I occasionally find references to svr1 and srv2 which are long gone and demoted. They do not seem to cause any issues, and as I have done so much digging through the system I do not recall where I found them.I did get KCC error in one of the iterations here is the post, that may have been from me trying anything that round to fix this though.company I work for has a Microsoft Technet subscription, I believe it includes some tech support, worse case we bump this up a level if we cant work this out here. One more thing I just remembered, srv4 used to be ad server with srv6. I removed it, demoted and removed from domain, built a new 2016 machine, named and ip'd it the same and rejoined it, replicated all shares and data to new machine, could it have old datareplicated about old domain somehow? Srv6 demoted and gone completely, Did all metadata cleanup.
Found links within group policies that caused a lot of errors. All references are gone.
Still have this error in LDapPS C:Windowssystem32 dcdiag /vDirectory Server DiagnosisPerforming initial setup:Trying to find home server. Ok time to fess up.I have managed to clear all errors in DcDiag /v list, well except what I have determined to be an object missing in the root level Active Directory listing for my forest. I will paste the error once again at the end of this post.So the fess up, I have fallen behind on the understanding of object orientated programming, and how it actually affects the environment I am trying to upgrade.
I have been looking at my currently running 2003 environment, and the fact that it has been runningfor this long. Simply because The domain failed on me. I let it run brokenish because I thought the leaning curve was a bit large at the time. The current project still has those elements of frustration, but I believe it may because of those old problems.Ok, onto the future.
After beating my head against the wall trying to fix things. Not totally understanding the utter simplicity of the root configuration.
Just make the DNS and DHCP work with the Active directory, and be sure it is consistent. Proper Routingand Resolution have always been the backbone of a good network. So enough babble, I will reply to all my replies with what I thought helped to promote a Decent outcome.PS C:Windowssystem32 dcdiag /vDirectory Server DiagnosisPerforming initial setup:Trying to find home server.
